Art is a thing I've always done, but never quite knew how to incorporate it into my life as a career

I took an intro graphic design class, and that was it! It's everything I always loved packaged into a neat little box I didn't know existed. My favorite bit to work with is type. Typography is something I've always been interested in, and I love being able to express words as image, rather than having to pick one or the other.

As many graphic artists do, I sometimes miss drawing on a piece of paper—usually charcoal and dry pastel. But for the most part, I stick to the computer. I don't always like to get my hands dirty.

I would like to say something about how inspiration finds me, but in reality most of what I do is for my art classes at this point. I am a student at the University of Wyoming, hopefully graduating in December 2014 with my two degrees in graphic design and psychology.
