Rebecca Parmelee

I am currently a student and live in Elk City, Oklahoma.

I worked as a corporate travel consultant for 25 years in call centers, on-sites, and virtually. I am very proficient in Sabre and have over 15 years of experience in International Travel.

When my travel career was interrupted in March of 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I decided to enter Western Technology Center's (WTC) Business Technology Program. I have earned certifications in Digital Literacy, Fundamentals of Technology, and Workplace Readiness, Job Seeking and Retention Skills, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Typing, and Administrative Medical Assistant. I also achieved the award of Outstanding Attitude at WTC.

I serve as Parliamentarian of Business Professionals of America and led our chapter to state champs of the "Chain of Love" project raising more money than any other in Oklahoma. All proceeds went to Special Olympics.

I am majoring in medical office administration and will graduate in April 2021. I look forward to getting back in the workforce and using my new skills!
