Rebecca Reichman

Attorney Rebecca Reichman has worked with a New York litigation boutique since 2010. With roots in the civil rights movements of the 1960s, the nonprofit litigation boutique collaborates with major law firms, legal advocacy programs, and rights-based organizations to advance economic justice across the country. In addition to her legal work, Rebecca Reichman was selected to create, launch, and lead the organization's Young Professionals Network for Economic Justice. She is dedicated to furthering the organization's visibility and effectiveness through social media and networking.

Prior to her current role, Rebecca Reichman practiced law as a Barrister with the Sidney Reitman Employment Law Inn of Court. The Inn was the first of the American Inns of Court devoted exclusively to employment and labor law. During her time there, Ms. Reichman worked successfully to resolve numerous corporate disputes.

An ambitious student, Rebecca Reichman graduated from the University of Maryland in 1998 with a dual Bachelor of Arts in Government & Politics and Criminology & Criminal Justice. During her junior year, she interned in the office of United States Senator Paul Sarbanes. After working for a two-year period as a Legal Assistant at the New York City firm of Weitz & Luxenberg, Ms. Reichman pursued graduate studies at Brooklyn Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctor.

Ms. Reichman is admitted to the bar in New York, New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Her volunteer activities have included serving as a Mentor and a Mentor Manager for the Woman to Woman program of New York Youth at Risk. She has also worked for the cause of diabetes research as a member of the JDRF Youth Leadership Committee and as an advocate for the JDRF Government Relations Program. Since 2009, Rebecca Reichman has volunteered for the American Diabetes Foundation as a member of the New York Core Network of Advocates.
