Librarian and editor Rebecca Vnuk is the author of 3 nonfiction books suitable for Reader's Advisory librarians and the general reading public. Published by Libraries Unlimited, they are: Read On... Women's Fiction; Author Research Series: Women's Fiction Authors; and Women's Fiction: A Guide to Reading Interests (co-authored with Nanette Donohue). She is also the author of the best-selling The Weeding Handbook: A Shelf-by-Shelf Guide (ALA Editions, 2015).
A national presenter on a variety of Reader's Advisory topics, she has served as chairperson of the Illinois Reader's Advisory group Adult Reading Roundtable, and the ALA RUSA CODES RA Committee. In 2010, Rebecca was named both a Library Journal Mover and Shaker as well as the recipient of PLA’s Allie Beth Martin Award for excellence in reader's advisory.
