Rebekah Salser Hambor

My Name Is Rebekah Salser Hambor I am a 30 year old wife and mother. My family is the reason I wake up everyday!

I was born with a congenital heart defect that eventually made it impossible to live without getting a heart and double lung transplant. I had that transplant March 28, 2014 at Cleveland Clinic. Since then I have felt the desire to return to school. I am enrolled in the American Sign Language Interpreting Program at Columbus State Community College.

Since my transplant I have a strong desire to grow awareness about Congenital Heart Defects as well as organ donation.

I am excited to see where this new direction will take me!
