When it comes to writing, I am a fireworks show. When first given an assignment: ideas blast through my mind, then quickly fade to the side. When an especially loud idea colors my mind, I can think about nothing else, and the writing begins. I stare at the page and weak colorless thesis continue to turn into smoke. Then the show sparks to life. The story takes off. Colorful explosions fill the blank space. The excitement rises as more and more words fill the page! Yet, the assignment begins to fade as the same ideas seem to light up the page. I continue to relive the same inner fireworks, only changing the color. The show is revised and it continues to once again draw in the audience. Then, the best part arrives. The finale lights up the whole page, bringing the show to an end. As I end the assignment with a bang, I believe it is complete. Leaving the paper in the past, I always feel there should have been more. I will create a better show next time.
