Rebekah Moan

Writer, Editor, and inspirational speaker in Oakland, California

When I was in college, I had an identity crisis. I made a "C" on a feature article writing assignment (a first), and it threw me. I started to question whether I was a writer, what it meant to accept that label. A dear friend told me a writer picks words with glee; they light up when they come across a word that fits just so. That's me. I used "detritus" the other day and I can't describe the thrill it gave me.

I write for others and I write for myself. Furthermore, I love helping other people pick the perfect word.

Do you struggle with expressing yourself? Do you furrow your brow wondering whether to use "who" or "whom?" If so, I'm your gal. Click on the link above to hire me.
