So, I'm a writer... I guess?
Hello, my name is Rebekka Leber (more commonly referred to as Bekki). I put words on paper, transfer them into Docs, and then I post them on the interwebs to elicit compliments from strangers, because as my therapist Linda once said, I have an "achiever type personality". Some people are addicted to alcohol or drugs or chocolate; I'm addicted to atta-girls.
When I'm not trying to get my fix, I spend my days earning well deserved karma points for teaching high school Social Studies to freshman near Springfield, Illinois. I live with my husband, Wyatt, and our three furry dependents; two cats named Rigby & Ashe, and Moe, our beloved, but broken, shelter puppy.
Recently, I have been adopted by the misfits over at Inkshares.com, and along with Christine Brennecke, Cara Weston, Joe Terzieva, and John Robin, have formed the raucous crew of "Drinkshares"- a brand new podcast to talk the world of hybrid publishing, nerd stuff, writing, reading, and randomness all while imbibing adult beverages.
