Brandon Reber

I am a recent graduate of Ursinus College where I majored in International Relations with minors in Politics and Biology. Upon graduation I moved to Philadelphia, PA. I hope to use the skills I have gained through my various undergraduate experiences to make me an invaluable member of a business or governmental team. I am confident that my education, skills and related work experience make me a prime candidate for a career in either business or governmental sectors. While serving as secretary of the executive board of governance for Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), I successfully planned, executed and managed numerous projects that have gained Ursinus College international recognition. I also gained valuable work related experience serving as Project Manager of a ten week program called RecycleMania. Under my leadership our team developed a business structure to run the program as an independently functioning group underneath SIFE. We were able to educate and promote recycling and other green initiatives on campus while placing second internationally for bottle and can recycling in 2010. I successfully balanced organizational duties including overseeing the organization, presenting to committees for competitive funding and executing programming. This shows my ability to manage effectively and efficiently at a high level. Through my sales and marketing training at both Haley’s Printing and CoBigelow, I have gained extensive knowledge of techniques and skills that can be used specifically for both business and sales development. Not only do I possess the skills to excel in the business world, but I also have worldly experience obtained by studying abroad. While studying in Cuernavaca, Mexico for an intensive language study program, I had an enriching and fulfilling experience through participating in cultural activities and acquiring friendships with residents of Cuernavaca, Mexico. I know that excelling in any company requires a rigorous time commitment and I am confident that I can meet and exceed any challenges. I believe that my continual success shows my capabilities of balancing the demands of class, work, SIFE, and Sigma Pi Fraternity, International.
