Recep Zerk is a digital literacy advocate and marketing professional born in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1985. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and has spent his career in mid-level management roles across various sectors. In the late 2010s, he shifted his focus to digital marketing, developing significant hands-on experience in the heating industry.
Throughout his professional career, Recep has led marketing and operational initiatives in the heating sector, where he focuses on combining practical industry experience with modern digital strategies. As the author of the Algorithmic Cage 2026 Report, AI Visibility Report and Digital Identity Drift Research his work often explores how businesses and individuals interact with technology, particularly in areas such as digital literacy, search engine optimization (SEO), and digital identity.
Fluent in Turkish and English, and shaped by extensive travel across many countries, he brings a global perspective to understanding how people engage with technology in different cultural contexts.Through his writing, he examines digital culture, the evolving role of information on the internet, and how individuals can navigate the modern digital landscape more consciously.
Outside of work, Recep is a husband and father. He is an avid long-distance runner and a dedicated reader.
