Bio page under construction. Rece Russé is a 19 year old dancer, singer/songwriter, and performer from Honolulu, Hawaii.

Since the age of 5, Rece has had a passion for dance and has had various training, such as ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, tap, hip-hop, african, samba, yoga, and pillates.

Her favorite style(s) can be described as a jazzy/corky contemporary, to where her bubbly and sassy personality shines the strongest. And then there's lyrical, a style in which, she describes, she can express everything she "cannot quite find the courage to put into words, because just some emotions deserve to be illustrated and not just heard. These emotions are the ones that demand to be felt and can only be understood through experience/empathy. To me, dance is a portal of understanding between two different worlds and it keeps me sane."

In 2002, Rece was enrolled in a classical ballet school. In 2005 Rece attended her first dance competition. In 2007 she participated in the Aerobic Gymnatics National/International Competition and recieved 3rd place with a trio number. In 2008 she went to her first audition and was accepted into The Ailvin Ailey American Dance Theater summer intensive, and was again accepted in 2009. Rece then returned to competing in dance, and won the contestant title for Miss American Dance in 2012.

Singing has also been a passion of Rece's since a young age. Inspired by the likes of Adele, Emeli Sandé, Beyoncé and other artists of varying genres, she began to teach herself how to play piano and wrote her first song at the age of 18.

She has written over 5 songs. Her latest hit is "Living Lies", written and recorded by Rece herself.

It wasn't until 1st grade, that Rece discovered her love for performing in the music field, when she performed her first song, the broadway classic "The Sun Will Come Out," at a school talent show. Through out Elementary and Middle School Rece sang in her schools choir. Sophomore year, she audtioned and was accepted into her schools Concert Choir and traveled, competed, and won various awards through out high school.
