Notes:
As the daughter of a chef, a passion of mine from a young age has always been cooking. One of my first memories is of my father and me cooking dinner in our kitchen for our entire family. My desire to discover new cultures through food is what drives my passion. Whether that be through trying new foods or just by learning new recipes from the internet. As I struggle to find my footing in a world of uncertainty and navigate through the problems of life, cooking is always what I can rely on to help me find the clarity and stability I desperately crave. This need for balance in my life stems from my dilemma of determining what it is I want to do with my life. Currently, I am a student studying at the University of Georgia, majoring in psychology. As of now, I plan to graduate with my bachelor's degree and then head to graduate school for my master's. While my head tells me that the plan my parents and I have laid out for me is the track I should follow, I can't help but feel that I should follow my heart and pursue my passion. As I struggle with this internal conflict between my head and my heart, I shall continue to cook, hone my skills, and grow my passion.
