Katie Redman

Katie grew up on a family farm in eastern Washington State, where she was president of her high school's FFA (Future Farmers of America) chapter and a basketball state champion forward at the lofty height of 5' 7". Despite the allures of home-grown livestock, lifted pick-ups, and amber waves of grain, Katie left home to pursue a private liberal arts education and a management consulting career in Southern California. For the last 6.5 years, she has entertained the residents of Los Angeles with stories of showing pigs at the county fair, deciding which steer will make the best hamburger, and the nuances of picking up a handful of mud to assess agricultural potential.

Along the way, Katie has gained a strong background in biological sciences and experience in operational efficiency. She hopes to use these skills to pursue a career in pharmaceutical operations.
