About me
I’m a biotechnology student interested in research, sustainability, innovation, and problem-solving. I enjoy combining laboratory work with computational, mathematical, and analytical approaches to investigate real-world challenges.
I’m particularly interested in fungal biotechnology, sustainable food, molecular biology, genomics, bioinformatics, and mathematical modelling. I enjoy exploring questions independently, experimenting with new ideas, and learning how different scientific fields can work together.
I’ve gained research experience through projects with Unge Forskere, including my project on modifying the flavour of fungi, which received 2nd place in Environmental and Biological Sciences at Unge Forskere 2026. I also participated in BIYSC, where I explored molecular breeding, genomics, bioinformatics, and CRISPR-Cas in the context of food and climate change.
Science communication is another important part of what I do. Through Unge Videnskabsformidlere and my collaboration with Albertslund Bibliotek, I work on making science more accessible and engaging for others.
Outside science, I’m a co-founder of EchoMation, where I work with animation, storytelling, and creative projects. I also work as a swimming instructor, which has taught me a lot about communication, patience, and adapting to different people.
I’m driven by curiosity and enjoy learning across disciplines. My goal is to continue developing as both a researcher and creator, while exploring how science, technology, and creativity can come together to create innovative and sustainable solutions.
