The lifeguard watched me as I waited for my turn on the slide. She chuckled as I ascended the ladder. She was certain a four-year-old would retreat in fear. In seconds, I zoomed into the deep end of the pool.

I'm still fearlessly plunging into the unknown. These days my focus is on strengthening communities through education and access to healthcare. I know that I can't do it alone, so I've partnered with organizations like Gateway and Millville Housing Authority to administer family self-sufficiency and housing programs. I welcome the chance to connect with new people.
