Born and raised in Detroit, MI, Shanayl is a city girl with a sweet spot for the south. She loves her role as a wife and mother of 3. She is a graduate of The Detroit High School for the Fine and Performing Arts and currently studying to receive her Bachelors Degree in Broadcast Journalism. Over the years Shanayl has become passionate about maintaining healthy relationships through God's healing power. She has taken her journey of motherhood and incorporated into her upcoming book, " HELP ME! I Can't Seem To Get This Mom Thing Right!" which will be released in early 2016. Writing, Dance, and Marching Bands are some of her favorite things. In her spare time she loves liturgical dancing and spending time with her family.
