Reefer Sadness is the collective mood of over half a million patients in Florida and over 6.5 million voters in 2016 who voted for medicinal marijuana in their state.

This is not our first go with reefer sadness. After passing Florida Amendment 2 in 2016, smokable flower was outlawed by then Governor Rick Scott. In 2019 after nearly 3 years and a change in governors, medical marijuana patients were finally able to purchase 2.5 ounces every 35 days.

Our freedoms are currently under assault via HB1455 which attempts to limit THC potency in medical marijuana. Although the bill is not popular with voters and doctors disagree with caps, Roach offered this soft analysis and argued "Marijuana is bad, mmmkay?"

We may have received a temporary reprieve as it has been reported that Governor Ron DeSantis opposes THC caps.
