Reese Kelly

Reese Kelly is a diversity and inclusion advocate who holds over a decade of experience in the area, during which time he has worked with a variety of organizations. From 2017 to 2018, Mr. Kelly served as Patient Advocate and Founding Member of the Gynecology Trans Healthcare Pathway project for the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. In this role, he conducted and analyzed qualitative research on trans men’s experiences seeking gynecological
services in order to assist a team of medical providers, residents, and staff with resolving gaps and deficits in care.
During his career, he has won a number of awards, such as the Graduate Student Teaching Portfolio Award, which was granted by the Institute for Teaching, Learning and Academic Leadership at SUNY, Albany in 2010, and the Faculty Leadership Award from the LGBTQA Center at the University of Vermont in 2011.
Reese Kelly holds a PhD in sociology from SUNY, Albany in 2012. While pursuing his degree, he received the Allen E. Liska Dissertation Research and Paul Meadows Excellence in Teaching awards from the department of sociology.
