I work as an anthropologist in Mexico and the US, doing research on household economics, women's work, indigenous technologies, worker safety and health, migration and immigration.

I live in Oaxaca, Mexico and Atlanta, Georgia, and stop over on the way to/from these places to scuba dive in Quintana Roo, Mexico. I travel--but I stay off the beaten track!
