Who am I? Hard to sum up in a couple of paragraphs isn't it..everything that you are. I am a 27 year old beach lover, school teacher who always feels 2 years behind a current trend. I get a little angsty over the fact that I will never be hipster or have SWAG and I needed my husband to explain about the whole fist bump, waggly fingers action. I don't feel 27-far out I don't even feel like I'm 22!

So in essence, I am a bit nerdy, a bit dorky, a voracious reader who longs to be cool and a sarcastic individual who can be found baking (love me some cupcakes), drooling over houses, four wheel driving and camping (love me some red dust too!) or renovating our not quite a beach shack abode.

I take my profession quite seriously and will be quite affronted by any person who tells me teaching is such an easy job. You have to be slightly mad, eccentric, downright bonkers and very passionate to be a teacher. That doesn't even make you a great teacher. Try working in a job that makes you feel guilt at not having every piece of work marked or makes you worry at 4am in the morning-am I doing enough for these kids? Don't forget the fact that you are pretty much herding cats all day-teaching 26 kids all day is an exhausting job but it is also a brilliant one.
