Refined Feline

Based in Texas, The Refined Feline is a designer and maker of modern cat furniture products such as cat trees, cat towers, cat shelves, cat litter box furniture, cat beds, and cat scratching posts.

Beginning in 2004, the inspiration for the company was a cat named Kerpal. Living in a small apartment in Englewood, NJ, 5 miles away from New York City, the company founder was not happy with the current cat furniture products on the market. The existing cat tree designs were awkward and not attractive; they never looked visually appealing in the home. The dilemma presented itself: how can Kerpal’s need to climb, play, and scratch co-exist with the desire for an aesthetically pleasing home? The solution was to design stylish cat furniture with both the cat and the cat owner’s needs in mind. Assuming others were facing a similar dilemma, The Refined Feline came to life. The goal was to create a line of cat furniture products that are affordable, easy to maintain, and great for cats, in addition to blending easily into any home’s style.

More and more cat furniture products were introduced over the years for both cats and cat parents to enjoy. By meeting with cat owners and surveying many more cat owners over the internet, The Refined Feline innovated to develop cat furniture products to satisfy the pet’s needs as well as make living with them better for everyone. Although Kerpal is no longer with us, the time with him inspires all of The Refined Feline’s range of beautiful cat furniture products.
