Hey there, I’m Regan. I’m a student living in Atlanta, GA. And go to The Mount Vernon School. Click the button above to go to my Wordpress site!

I believe that I have furthered my understanding of what leadership is. Leadership on google is defined as, “The action of leading a group of people or an organization.” I agree with this statement but I don’t think they include everything about leadership. I believe that leaders are made and not born. I believe that events throughout your life influence you and having certain strengths make you a better leader. Having good communication and teamwork skills are important and even being an extrovert. Also putting others needs before your own. Often in the school setting leaders are identified during projects. During the french project I was working on recently I stepped up and became a leader when I saw that not everyone had completed their part of the project so I finished it and turned it in on time.

I have five main values: Tradition, happiness, family, friendship and respect. These values have helped to shape me into the person and leader I am today. These all tie into leadership. But respect the most. You can't be a leader if you don't have respect for you and your peers.

My top three strengths are input, responsibility and discipline. Responsibility is probably my top strength for a couple reasons. One of the main reasons is because I have two younger brothers and my whole life so far I have helped to look after them.

My personal mantra is "Life isn't about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself." This qoute is in two places in my room, and is a phrase I really live by. I think it means that one moment dosen't define you and that your personality develops as you get older.
