Regina Marini

Hi. I am Regina Marini, a program management consultant, living in Singapore.

Recently, I became passionate about sustainable living and climate change. In November 2015, I organised a petition signing weekend in my church, to call upon world leaders in the Paris UN Climate Conference (COP21), to adopt concrete measures to deal with current climate change threats.

COP21 turned out to be a historic event. 175 nations signed the Paris Agreement. The Agreement aims to address global climate change challenges by keeping a global temperature rise this century below 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels and to pursue efforts to limit the temperature increase even further to 1.5 degrees Celsius.

I believe that every individual has a responsibility to ensure that the natural resources of earth are used wisely; not depleted out of selfish interests. Also, we are entrusted to preserving this planet in livable conditions for future generations.
