Rehana Mohammed is a passionate public servant and leader in DC focused on LGBTQ+ equality, equity, and anti-racism. She is serving her first term as an ANC Commissioner in Logan Circle (ANC 2F07). She also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors at The DC Center for the LGBT Community.
Rehana is currently Associate Director for Transparency at the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee where she oversees making the over $5 trillion in federal pandemic relief spending transparent to the public. She was previously Director of Program Development at the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC). In this role, she managed data analytics, IT, project management, knowledge management, and strategic communications for the Rural Health Care program.
Before coming to USAC, she was a Policy Analyst and Presidential Management Fellow at the Office of Management and Budget in the Executive Office of the President. Rehana lives in Washington, DC with her wife and 2 cats.
