John Reid is a second-generation land investor, as well as president of GreyRock Land Group. He is passionate about helping his clients seize fantastic opportunities, as well as turn their vision into an actionable development project. With his company, John specializes in land acquisition and small scale development through the Washington DC Metro area.

John is proud to serve the local community, particularly as an Army veteran with over ten years of service and the American Red Cross National Certificate of Merit nominee. Currently, John is the president of USDA Employee Services and Recreational Activities, which is to this day a seminal non-profit organization in Washington DC, the oldest and largest of its kind. In addition to that, he continues to contribute to the community in various capacities, including being the president of the Potomac Rotary Club in Potomac, MD.

Although based in Washington, John was actually raised in Central Virginia. When not busy working, John loves to spend time with his beloved family, and he is all about spending time in the beautiful surrounding outdoors. He is an avid athlete, who loves to be out in nature, especially during the warmer months, when he jogs and golfs regularly. He continues to show his devotion to God and his gratitude towards his community, supporting charitable organizations such as the SMGA Salute Military Golf Association, an organization that caters to post 9/11 veterans with rehabilitative golf programs.
