In all honesty, it never crossed my mind that I will be in taking a degree related to music. During my high school years, I was fixed to take up Psychology as a degree to pursue. However, as we all know, change is the only constant thing. There was an instance, that our high school requires a choir member to compete. I must say, I do not have a professional nor any kind of training about it at all however, a friend pushed me to try it. I have been accepted unexpectedly and it was the start of my musical journey.

Over time, I later auditioned for Pansol Choir in Quezon City to take my chance and was gracefully accepted again. Joining the choir made me come out of my shell in exploring deeper to know more about music and its technicalities hence, I joined UST to be a part of the music department.

So far, it is indeed an amazing journey to be committed within hopes for betterment and excellence. This opportunity is an unforgettable one and would be treasured until I grow old.
