Reiki is natural energetic healing of your subtle energy subsystems. It works by delivering extra energy through your chakras. Chakras are centers of energy within your body's structure. They are anchored into your endocrine gland system as well as your surrounding energetic layers (bio-magnetic feild, or aura). By delivering extra energy to these key places the chakras get a "tune up". Blocked energy gets moved and you feel great the next day. Some people may have more blocked energy than others. This is the reason that while effects are generally the same, they do differ from person to person.
Reiki is touchless, and non-intimidating, as you remain fully clothed. Anything from old fractures, to back pain, to just plain tired can be eased and comforted. Reiki has its roots in Eastern Medicine and is being more recognized here in the West, even being offered by many hospitals in the area for terminally ill patients and those with Fibromyalgia. The average session time is 45 mins to 1 1/2 hours. When done on a regular basis the benfits are immense.
My favorite way to describe Reiki is to say "Its kinda like acupuncture, but without the big scary needles." As you can see, I am lighthearted and practical in my approach.
Although primarily being a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Healing Practioner, I do have a mild background working with clinical patients, as well as analyzing extensive background case studies. I have devoted a large portion of my life to the healing arts and developing skills to assist those rebuilding their lives after traumatic experiences. I am currently researching my book which will hopefully provide what so many are looking for. On a personal level, I am building a strong foundation in the independent business world as it is my intent to show others the same can be had for them.
I hope to continue to develop and grow as we all are taking in every bit of knowledge and building strength every moment of our lives. As we grow and learn to serve others from our heart, we truly serve ourselves.
...and so it is...
