KeyFigure

Born in the North of Holland near the coast. Spend my childhood there and went to Leiden to study Contemporary History at the local University. During these years I took part in cabaretical events, which took me finaly to the "Groninger Cabaret Festival".

After my student-year I went back to Groningen and got a job as a history teacher in a village nearby. A few years back I took up songwriting again. This time I left out the theatrical stuff and started writing in English; more serious songs about daily life.

Now I am performing about once a week (average) and with three friends started a folk-something - band. This is boosting my songwriting and together with them I'm hoping to record an album one day.
