Reinhold Behringer

I am working at the intersection of intelligent systems and creativity. Started out as physicist, then became a software engineer. Developed computer vision prototypes of road recognition for autonomous driving (1990-96). Developed and demonstrated Augmented Reality (AR) prototypes (1997-2005). Led a team in the 2004 US DARPA Grand Challenge (race of autonomous ground vehicles across the Mojave desert). Since 1993 I have created music renditions of classical compositions for orchestra, using computers, sequencers and synthesizers.
