Rafael Reis

Rafael has always been competitive, both in his personal and professional life. Rafael’s professional work experience has provided him with several opportunities, to learn and implement in great detail, innovative financial strategies that benefit individuals as well as businesses. With 10 years of money management experience, Rafael was able to work his way up the corporate ladder within a few industries. He eventually concluded to run his own practice.

Currently, Rafael runs a management-consulting firm, based out of Vancouver, BC, called Reis Financial Solutions Inc. His team works with small business owners as well as guiding individuals making the leap into business ownership. Rafael, alongside Randy Alvarez, created Student Destinations to help millennials become financially literate. Student Destinations provides millennials with an equal opportunity to learn how to set goals and become financially responsible.

Over the past decade Rafael developed a mild case of the travel bug, which has taken him to far off destinations. He plans on visiting all seven continents before 40. Some of Rafael’s favorite destinations so far include: Galway, Ireland; Lisbon, Portugal; Edinburgh, Scotland; London, England; Queenstown, New Zealand; San Francisco, USA; Hua Hin, Thailand; and Sydney, Australia.

When Rafael isn’t working, he is actively involved in various projects and activities. His second home is Contenders Training Studio where he trains in amateur boxing. He has been boxing for over five years and has competed in a few bouts. Rafael’s ring name is Man O’ War and he has earned the respect of his fellow fighters and trainers.
