The writer never tells us much about the Ancients, the landscape or other such background information. I was confused, until it was explained ultimately, that the book is situated in another world entirely. Undoubtedly, the figures were quite likely to be of humanoid life. Jealousy of the Gods deserves a second read, and is quite exciting indeed.

I really do, however, feel it is required to voice some negative responses. If you think anything at all, you will maybe choose to research about science fiction book talk.
