I love to write, watch cartoons, and play video games.
I pay the bills by teaching swim lessons, but one day hope to finance at least a portion of my life by putting ink to paper.

Lately, I've been reporting on anime and conventions for SpaceGypsies.com.

Why conventions in particular?

As a fangirl myself, I find the cumulative realities presented in the media these events celebrate enthralling, obviously~! I'm also increasingly interested in how these conventions seem to represent, blend, and influence culture as they grow in popularity.

I'm a linguaphile, can be incredibly silly, and, despite my love of dark concepts and humor, generally have a pretty sunny outlook.

(At least I like to think so!)

I have great faith, a wonderful family, rewarding work, amazing friends, and two pets that mewl and came with a box of poo sand.

I like to think my basic brain composition involves equal parts whimsy, words, and caffeine, which often leads to my fan-girl switch getting flipped into hyper-drive in an instant! Over the years, I've built up quite an ecclectic assembly of infatuations spanning entire genres of games, movies, anime, and comics...

Although the future is always full of surprises, I can be certain that boredom has never and will never be an issue!
