The best way to describe me is to think about Gumbo.

I was born in Seattle, WA and raised by my Harlem-bred mother and my deep country Louisiana father who both were self-made in their own right. Went to art school from elementary to high school and then to business school in college. On top of this, I took up digital design as a hobby...WTF?

Turns out it all made sense however in my chosen profession. I am a 24 year old User Experience Designer by trade with 4+ years of professional experience in designing, concepting, and creating rich physical and digital experiences for my clients, myself, and ultimately the people. Ive worked within a range of industries for Fortune 500 campanies and Startups taking on projects from implementing digital design into concert/nightlife to experience designing small pop-up streetwear exposés. Ive also had the rare opportunity to become a published contibutor to the industry leading publication, Advertising Age.

Outside of work, I like reading up on trends in digital design and men's fashion, hitting up craft bars and having continual sports debates with my friends as family (I'm a Lakers fan...dont judge me.) I also have a thing for fine dining. Besides that...I spend most of my time building my craft. One pixel at a time.

The combination of my age, background, ethnicity, skill, education and credible experience has made me a rare case and i cant wait to be a further contributing member to the creative industry; and just like gumbo, you can never go wrong with a good recipe.
