Renata Ayoub

Hi everyone!

My name is Renata and I am a teacher currently living in Ottawa, and a mother of two little girls (recently turned 4 and 6), who like to keep me very busy :) Pursuing the vocation of teaching and motherhood have both been such blessings in my life and incredible learning experiences.

I have been a teacher with my board for 6 years now and primarily in the capacity as an occasional teacher (teaching in both English and French) because I chose to be at home with my girls until they are in full-day kindergarten. I have also completed Spec Ed Part I and have thoroughly enjoyed working as resource across the board.

Having been an immigrant child from Poland, myself, and learning Polish, German, and later English and French at the age of 8, I quickly grew to recognize the fabric of society as a very multicultural environment. Later marrying into my husband's family, of Arabic descent, my passion for furthering language development and assisting immigrating children within the schools in our board only seemed natural. The recent influx of immigrants into our schools and communities has inspired me very much and I am eager now to pursue this learning experience with you all!
