Renato Tobalina

Student, Intern, and Soccer player in Miami, FL

I’m Renato Tobalina, and l recently finished freshman year with multiple awards in the bio-medical program from John A Ferguson Senior High School. I’m seeking to learn and experience new skills during the Summer Youth Internship Program. Some of my passions are soccer, running, drawing, and music. I currently play U15 in Miami FC Academy and played starting fullback the whole season. My favorite and deepest bible quote is Psalm 73:26 “My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.”

I am participating in this year's 2025 Summer Youth Internship Program because l want to have an early experience of working and learning new life skills during the internship. Also, l joined the program to receive $1,500 by the end of summer, since it will help me gather and save money for college. I didn’t want to waste this opportunity and making the decision to participate in this program, has truly been one of the best decisions of my life.

By definition, “superhero” means a “fictional hero having superhuman powers to fight the villains and evil for the community”.

To me in terms of leadership, the word superhero means someone-a leade- who uses their exceptional abilities and skills to inspire, protect, and guide others towards a goal”.

My Superpowers are problem-solving, critical thinking, memory, vision, etc.

By definition, l am a superhero well at least for my little sister that’s 5 years old. Every day, l make sure l am being a great example for her and hope one day she looks up to me.
