My name is Rene S.Serrano, I was born and raised in the Salinas Valley. I come from a family that worked the valley picking everything from strawberries to tomatoes. I’m a graduate from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I have a passion for photography and old cars. Some historic figures that influenced my photography range from Dorothea Lange, Ansel Adams, to Cesar E. Chavez. I’m currently working on my Masters and teaching credential. My goal is to teach high school photography in hopes to influence our young men and women to pursue higher education.
