Renée Jansen

Renée's passion for photography started at the early age of 10, when she bought herself a camera after a long time of saving. In high school she bought several cameras including her first digital SLR; during that time she also started collecting fashion magazines from over the world. The pile of magazines grew in proportion to her ambition to become a fashion photographer. In 2008 she graduated with excellent marks, started her company at the age of 19 and was hired by several portrait studios. After traveling around the world Renée was exclusively selected to become the assistant of Dutch fashion and fine-art photographer Flore Zoé. Renée worked for Zoé as a photography and personal assistant and helped creating the worldwide exhibited

and published series 'ART meets FASHION', 'SPIRIT' and 'Reunion'. She also worked on commissioned projects for clients including the Antwerp Diamond Centre, Marcel Wanders and Sander Kleinenberg. In the meantime Renée worked on her own commissioned and non-commissioned projects, thus filling her portfolio to get ready for her trip to Asia. End 2011 Renée moved to Singapore to start projects, create new series and collaborate with the local fashion industry. Once arrived she got instantly intrigued by Singapore's cultural aspects and events thus started making both still,- and motion-picture documentary's. At the moment Renée is dividing her time between the Netherlands and Singapore.
