Renee Ruth made her professional musical debut in 2010 as a solo artist before adding a group of talented instrumentalists who were performing regularly at a speakeasy. The resulting Renee Ruth Band quickly gained popularity and began performing throughout central Virginia, the East Coast, and beyond. As the band’s momentum increased, it started a fruitful collaboration with a Miami DJ and producer creating a fresh original sound combining pop, jazz, funk, and rock with electronica. Ruth and her band mates have a rare ability to create crowd favorites by taking well-known songs from all genres and making them “their own” by infusing them with impressive solos, catchy parts, and hip arrangements. The band has hit the Reverbnation charts and in two months has climbed to the top 30 in the U.S. The Renee Ruth Band looks forward to gaining even greater audiences with its upcoming release of the song “ADAN” and returning to the studio to create new tracks as well as refreshing arrangements of old favorites.
