Rodolfo E. Piza G
REP | are the acronyms of my great-grandfather's, my grandfather's and my father's name. Now, it is also my turn to carry this name along. Name, I want to keep as clean as possible, so that, with pride, I can pass it to my future generations.
I think I was born an architect. I played in my childhood as one. I developed through my youth as one. I started university as one, and ended up university as a better one. Not leaving aside that I have always been one, and I'm always going to be one.
Particularly. My main interest is: the people's mind and soul. To bring the first one into the deepest essence of space, where one can judge perfection. And transport their souls to a place where everything is possible.
I believe in architecture, the one that never dies. Like the picture the artist would desire to repaint again, even 15 years later. That picture which, not even the artist, stops rediscovering. Like a space where breakfast always tastes good, and the heel of a morning shoe seizes an echo that makes you goose bump. Like a light that fills the space with longing, a longing that will help you grow internally. I even believe in the kind of architecture that can make people happier and a better person, that one which can create spaces where families can be easily united. The architecture that can even help couples to feel love again.
This is what I see myself creating. An architecture that people have always deserved, but very few are those who have the culture to appreciate it.
