Wendy Aguilar is an anchor/producer and multimedia journalist for KSWT, CBS affiliate in Yuma, Arizona.

Before attending college, Wendy worked as an insurance and financial consultant. She worked her way up the professional ladder from customer service representative to sales agent to office manager.

In 2009, Wendy decided to pursue her passion to become a TV news journalist.

Wendy gave up her professional career and enrolled at California State University Northridge where she earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Journalism with a minor in Spanish-Language Journalism in 2013.

In college, Wendy served as a Reporter, Anchor & Producer for Valley View News, the college campus news station. Wendy also produced and anchored a weekly business segment for KCSN radio.

Wendy is especially proud of her print and online work she produced for El Nuevo Sol, a Spanish newspaper at Cal-State Northridge where she conducted research and interviews in Tijuana, Mexico.

A go-getter, Wendy interned at KHTS, a local radio station in her hometown of Santa Clarita and at KABC-TV, the number one news station in Los Angels. After completing her internship, KABC-TV hired her as a full-time production assistant.
