Economics researcher and consultant, focused on blockchain and digital assets, currently living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. My interest ranges from technology, cybernetics and biology to alternative finance, entrepreneurship and regulation.
Currently Sr. Consultant at OSL, the leader regulated digital assets prime broker in Asia, and Matba Rofex, local commodities exchange, developing BTC/ARS index and futres contract.
During 2020 I consulted for cLabs, a purpose-driven company focused on financial inclusion, researching around stable coin use cases with members of the CELO Foundation.
Previously I worked as blockchain consultant for INTAL/Inter-American Development Bank & WEF C4IR, on trade integration on the Global Trade Single Window Studies.
With over 15 years’ experience in the financial markets, I have provided consultancy services to governments, agencies, IOs and companies in different sectors and regions on hedging risks, introducing compliance, governance, and opening new markets.
Co-founder and Board Secretary of the Global Impact Fintech Foundation & several Blockchain Association in LaTam, alongside fostering Education initiatives for the Blockchain Commission in alignment with the United Nations SDGs.
Appointed in 2016 to conduct the Latam operations as Vice President of Kynetix, a UK based Blockchain leader company focused on exchange-traded commodities with proven used cases in the financial markets at London Metals Exchange, Intercontinental Exchange, and Singapore Diamond Investment Exchange.
In 2014 I took the Business Development Manager role for South Latam at Finastra, being responsible for enterprise sales and implementation of trade, post-trade, payments and core banking solutions for banks and financial institutions with sales over USD 3 Mln.
I began my Fintech career at Thomson Reuters in Buenos Aires and Chile, working in various strategic roles mainly covering buy-side investment management, brokerage, investment banking and wealth-management. Prior to that, worked as Institutional Sales & Trading, at HSBC Bank and Banco Industrial in Argentina.
Currently writing my Masters in Business and Technology Thesis at Saint Andrew University (UDESA). Previously I attended Universidad Adolfo Ibañez in Chile Innovators Program and hold a Bachelor in Economic Science from Universidad Argentina de la Empresa specialized in econometric models, games-theory and big data computing.
