Does it really matter what we did a minute ago? :) Yes and no. It doesn't, because the now and the future are more important - but we should also not dismiss past achievements and lessons.

So: here is my past.

I have studied Journalism at the Technikon Pretoria in South Africa. Very tough course..! I have been editor of 2 area newspapers, have been a branch manager and call centre manager, and a quality assurance team leader. (The latter means that I assessed the quality of business letters/faxes/e-mails from call centre agents to clients and did writing training. I also did templates for FAQ's for the call centre.)

Apart from this, I have worked for a fashion magazine, an advertising agency and a childrens' home. My almost 4 year journey at the childrens' home was a very emotionally rewarding experience, and here I also got to do a number of dependencies and parenting courses.

In my personal life, I was closely exposed to many quite remarkable things (considering I was born in South West Africa and then became a country girl) in the time before 2010. I had very close relations with people with ADD/ADHD, HIV/AIDS, children from troubled backgrounds and their parents, teenage pregnancy, people with various different sexual orientations, really difficult teenagers, etc.

In 2010 I was admitted to a hospital for what should have been a minor though life-threatening procedure (if not performed correctly). Trauma during the procedure left me with PTSD with severe anxiety, and Major Depressive Disorder. During the same year, my spouse left me, I lost 2 friends to death - and my job. This is where my spiritual journey began - though I had no idea that this was what was happening during the first year at all, of course. Now, however, all my past experiences make sense. Everything has fallen into place.

I have looked for and received much help in many areas of my life in the past 4 years. I am now paying it forward with my writing, being uniquely me and assisting those who need help to live their own, unique best life. (There is no ONE recipe.)

This is my story. This is me. If you have read all this... you were meant to. There is no such thing as coincidence. Believe it.

Love-light and laughter; always
