Deirdre Schoultz

Hi, im Deirdre and im an artist based in the beautiful city of Durban on the east coast of South Africa.

I've always had a passion for creating and over the years have slowly developed my own style. Urged on by friends and family, I've participated in a number of shows and am amazed at the response to my work.

Art in all its forms excites and captivates me. in my own work I'm inspired by the quirkiness of life and i constantly try to capture that in my work. i try to express the beauty around me in my art.

I'm also the proud mom of a gorgeous 3 year old named Sophie. she is a huge part of my inspiration and a lot of my art att he moment tries to capture that bond between us. She fills me with laughter everyday and i think my art shows how tremendously she has changed my outlook.
