Reuben Jacobs

Reuben Jacobs is pursuing an undergraduate degree in computer science and biology at Boston’s Northeastern University. During his time in college, he has held a number of professional positions, including as software engineer with Smarter Travel Media, LLC. Reuben Jacobs’ work with the TripAdvisor company focused on front-end web development for sites such as Airfarewatchdog.com and Bookingbuddy.com.

Jacobs subsequently held a software engineering position with LinkeDrive, Inc., and was a key part of the development team that created a platform integrating database, server, and mobile apps. The Android platform, which targets the trucking industry, offers in-cab analytics that drive accident reductions, fuel savings, and driver retention. In developing the app, Jacobs coordinated efforts with product managers, development team members, and the company’s sales and marketing department.

Reuben Jacobs also has experience with American Well in conducting regression and functional tests of mobile apps and websites prior to their going live. He undertook these tests on multiple browsers and coordinated efforts with developers and other members of the quality assurance team.
