David Chamberlin
Milton, Cambridge, UK
Hi, I'm David Chamberlin, and I've been ordained in the Church of England since 1994. Prior to training for ministry at St John's College Nottingham, I worked for 20 years for Norwich Union Insurance (now Aviva) in my home city of Norwich. I served my curacy at Pip and Jim's in Chatham, and returned to Norfolk in 1997 as Vicar of the Swardeston Group of Parishes.
I'm married to Julia Chamberlin, and we have two daughters, two sons and one granddaughter.
I've been Rector of Milton since September 2004. In June 2012, I was made Priest-in-Charge of the neighbouring parishes of Waterbeach and Landbeach in addition to my role at Milton, so I'm now overseeing a bigger team, with all the challenges and opportunities that brings.
All Saints' Milton is a lively, friendly and inclusive parish church, evangelical and gently charismatic, with a mix of unashamedly modern and more traditional worship. We have lots of activities in the week for people in the local community, from the youngest to the oldest. We're linked with New Wine, and take a good number of people to the summer conference each year. We're also involved in Cambridge Street Pastors and Hope Cambridge.
All Saints' Milton is a good place to be, and you will be made very welcome if you come along.
Thanks for dropping by, and feel free to e-mail me. You can also follow my random ramblings on Twitter (@revdc). You might find some stuff of interest on revdc.net.
Love and blessings,
