CHMI has partnered with the social work unit of Johnson & Associates, LLC. The new relationship emphasizes adult and teen parent training with early projects in the hotel, legal services and literary sectors. I've been speaking on related topics in the Maryland/DC regions targeting CHMI's long standing priorities of transitional housing for the home based business owner community. We've started explorations to acquire and convert a 120 room Kentucky hotel into condominiums. CHMI sponsors can support our mission by submitting expressions of written interest to law4all.com attention Patricia Johnson. The project's objectives include selling 40 of the rooms to investors for $ 50K per unit; to establish The Clergy Authors Re-training Enterprise Center, which will operate as The CARE Center, capitalized from it's $ 2M raised from condo unit sales. We're establishing 50 regional singles chapters for assorted literary minded followings to meet in person and on-line while reviewing oneanother's literary efforts. Rents from the operation of The CARE Center rooms will sponsor annual competitions leading to Honolulu resort/retreat writers workshop for the selected finalist authors---of the works most likely to be successfully published. A mentorship relationship will be arranged with a very successful host author/judge for the Honolulu experience.
