Before the ministry, Gina trained as a gerontologist and worked several years in long-term care, later becoming a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Fellow who helped shape health care legislation and policy for Virginians in need. Gina’s advocacy interest turned to children’s issues and she led the Virginia Conference Children’s Initiative for several years.

As a pastor, Gina has served a range of church sizes and most recently planted a church on the James River District. Currently, she shares pastoral leadership with her husband, Rev. Bert Cloud, at Warwick Memorial United Methodist Church.

She has a passion for God’s mission to ‘the least and the lost’ and inviting people to a meaningful relationship with God. In her free time, Gina enjoys time with family, friends and pets. She likes basketball and loves hiking, especially in the mountains.
