Rev. G., born George Elijah Williams on June 26, 1984, has been singing and playing drums since the age of three and playing the organ and piano since the age of five. His first big vocal break was at 7 years old when he was asked to sing a duet with his sister at C.O.G.I.C.'s UNAC performing for his God Mother, Professor Iris Stevenson. His first label signing was with Intersound Records in 1995 with Michael Scott & The Outreach Choir releasing their first album "Lord Let Me Hear From Heaven" featuring such gospel greats as Twinkie Clark, the late Mattie Moss Clark, the late Timothy Wright and many others, he was 11 years old at the time and continued singing with the choir to the second album release entitled "Hold On". To date, he has produced for, sang with, played with, and written for many artist, such as Aaron Thomas, Kefia Rollerson, James Keith, Twinkie Clark, Richard "Mr. Clean" White, Professor Kevin Pringle & the Children of Israel, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Choir, the list goes on. He is now 28, and is bringing 20+ years of experience to music including his classical piano schooling, as well as his many years playing in Church and R&B. He is a self produced artist, writer and musician. In 2009, he received his license to preach dubbing the stage name Rev. G. With songs like Sweet America, Our God, Second Coming, fans and Christians alike are sure to be dancing, rejoicing, unifying and lifting up the name of Jesus. His first single "Our God" to be released through TMG (Tate Music Group) will be Still Here #MoodSwings.
