James Williams

Rev. James Williams (B.Ph.M.Div) is a "Organizational and Leadership Liaison" with an overwhelming drive and motivation to help individuals and organizations connect to their purpose. He is a coach, consultant, teacher, trainer and counselor.

Rev. Williams has over 40 years of leadership development experience, working with churches, non-profit organzations, government agencies and corporations. He brings to this work a wealth of wisdom to help enhance lives and increase productivity. He is the founder and CEO of Awareness Ministries, and the principal consultant for the Center for Progressive Leadership.

Rev.Williams is the former pastor of The House of The Lord Center, in Raleigh, North Carolina, and the former Southeastern District Elder of The House of The Lord Churches. He currently serves as Associate and Minister to Men at Christian Faith Baptist Church, in Raleigh, NC,

Rev. Williams is a nationally recognized speaker, trainer and consultant. He has trained and worked with literally thousands of commuity volunteers, government employees and church leaders throughout the United States, helping them to actualize their organizational and individual goals.

Born in Brooklyn, New York he is a product of the New York City Public School System and the City University of New York, where he graduated with honors and majored in Business Administration. Ordained to the ministry in 1974, he is an alumnus of the New York Theological Seminary and holds advance degrees in Divinity and Pastoral Counseling. Rev. Williams is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

A devoted family man. He is the proud parent of two children and a gloating grandparent to eight grandchildren to who he is affectionally known as "poppy".
