I am happily married and have three beautiful children. I graduated from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Science degree, the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) in Atlanta, Georgia earning a Masters of Divinity degree with a concentration in Psychology of Religion and Pastoral Care, and the Doctorate of Theology and Pastoral Counseling at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia. Additional I received extensive training in clinical pastoral education and clinical pastoral counseling and psychotherapy; completing 12 months of clinical education at St. Luke's Counseling Center and Emory Center for Pastoral Services, and 18 months of clinical pastoral counseling and psychotherapy at Care and Counseling Center of Georgia. Currently I serve as a staff chaplain in the department of Spiritual Health in Emory healthcare. I am currently an adjunct professor at Grand Canyon University and previously taught as adjunct at The Interdenominational Theological Center and co-taught within the Atlanta Theological Association (Candler School of Theology of Emory University, The Interdenominational Theological Centering, and Columbia Theological Seminary).

I am an ordained minister, licensed Christian Counselor and Therapist (L.C.C.T.), national board certified Pastoral Counselor, Addiction Counselor, Anger Management and Trauma Specialist. My specialties are Addiction, Anger Management, Women’s Issues, Trauma, Grief, Premarital, and Marriage & Family Therapy. I have specialized training in multicultural and narrative counseling and working within a diverse population. I have provided counseling and worked in community with poor, low-income, and middle-class families who struggle with crises in their marriage and/or individual life. In addition, to providing free counseling to persons within Metro Atlanta prison systems, homeless and HIV/Aids communities. Moreover, I have facilitated several groups and worked extensively with women who have been victimized by intimate partner violence and childhood traumas.
